How can we use internet on Microsoft rt or pro when we don't have WiFi connection .... if we can't it is a useless device ..
ReplyDeleteyou can use a 3G usb dongle to connect to the internet when you don't have access to wifi.
Deletethat's right .
DeleteAre you certain u can use a dongle to connect? The RT only lets you install approved apps and it doesn't allow my 3g dongle install.
DeleteHi , MicroSoft RT or Pro has Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n) , So you can connect to internet wirelessly . in this article please find the wireless parameter/label, you will come to know . seems you missed to look at this parameter in the article while reading.
ReplyDeleteBut I don't have Wi-Fi all the time, so this might be his problem...
ReplyDeleteUse your phone as a personal hotspot!
ReplyDeleteOr put is a SIM Card slot, WTF Microsoft? You want your devices "CONNECTED" my windows phone, my XBOX, give me a SIM card slot. This is one more year I wont buy a windows tablet because there is not SIM card slot. Listen to your consumers, we want a SIM card slot. We said it last year, and I'm refusing to buy your product AGAIN because of this reason, and this reason alone. I work in retail and people would buy it, if it had a SIM card slot. Now they wont, they will buy an iPad, and your market share will shrink, again.
ReplyDeleteJust bought a Surface 2 and was disappointed that the sales girl didn't know the difference between micro sd and sim card slot. The idea was to purchase 5 of these for lawyers to use in court. Now I have to justify why I bought a test one that doesn't work without wireless. Thanks for nothing microsoft
